The Exhibition hall of ancient Shenzhen, covering an area of 731 square meters, is displayed on the second floor. This Exhibition consists of five parts, namely The Predecessor’s Footmark, Beginning of the City, Marine Economy, An Important Strategic Town on Coastal Defence and Ancient Immigration. The contour of history looms large out of the historical sketch from the Neolithic Age to the Qing Dynasty in this Exhibition. The historical root is found in the history of more than 6000 years development, over 1700 years’ county administration, and the immigration history of the Cantonese and Hakka.
